With the constant thought votwo race the ‘ONER’ – (3 marathons back to back in 24hours in the back) of my mind, being only 4 weeks away I have had to increase my running. I have been running mainly over the local hills with my ever trusted dog Hamish. This weekend Joanne and I went to visit my brother Sam in the big smoke, we went to an amazing show in the O2 arena call ‘Africa Africa’. Sunday morning I went running along the Thames river banks. Running in the morning has been made easier thanks to Exposure Lights - Joystick MaXx. The Joystick Maxx is a mightily impressive bit of kit indeed; its very compact, light weight and most importantly give a fantastically bright beam. I have been running with my Joystick Maxx for about three months now and would not use any other torch for training or racing. Last week Rory from Exposure Lights send me a head strap (see in the photo) to test out. I have been out on 4 night runs wearing the head strap – and so far I have found it excellent, with the torch loop slightly angled down so you can run normally.
